Update on temporary flight arrangements for Norfolk Island
Suspension of the Tasman green zone quarantine-free travel arrangements between Australia and New Zealand continues due to COVID-19 cases in New Zealand.
The Australian Government will continue to engage Qantas to deliver air services to and from Norfolk Island until Air New Zealand is able to resume flights to Norfolk Island.
Details of the revised flight schedule for 19 and 20 February are below.
|Date||From||To||Departure time||Arrival time||Flight number|
Air New Zealand and Qantas have worked together to rebook passengers who have an existing Air New Zealand booking to minimise any inconvenience to travellers.
All passengers booked to travel on Friday 19 February and Saturday 20 February will be automatically rebooked on the equivalent Qantas service. Please contact Air New Zealand on +61 13 24 76 if you have any queries about this process.
Passengers who wish to travel and do not have an existing booking with Air New Zealand can book flights by phone on +61 2 8222 2422, online via qantas.com or through their travel agent.
In the coming days I will provide a further update regarding air services to and from Norfolk Island from Monday 22 February.
I would like to thank everyone for their continuing patience and understanding as we work to ensure the health and safety of residents and visitors to Norfolk Island.
