Jervis Bay Territory

The Jervis Bay Territory is a Commonwealth administered territory, occupying the Bherwerre Peninsula, and forming the southern boundary of Jervis Bay. Total area of the Jervis Bay Territory is 7456 hectares, comprising:
- a land area of 6569 hectares, and
- 887 hectares of marine reserve.
The Jervis Bay Territory is located, by road, approximately 250 kilometres east of Canberra and approximately 200 kilometres south of Sydney.
The Assistant Minister for Regional Development and Territories, the Honourable Nola Marino MP, has declared a state of emergency for the Jervis Bay Territory (JBT) for the period 25 March 2020 to 23 April 2020, as part of the ongoing response to the evolving COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation.
