RDO development of the Christmas Island Curriculum Vitae
Date: 23 March 2021
As Chair of the Indian Ocean Territories (IOT) Regional Development Organisation (RDO), I would like to invite local businesses to register for the Christmas Island Curriculum Vitae (CV).
Being developed through the Australian Government's IOT RDO economic diversification funding, the Christmas Island CV will showcase the unique capacity and capability of CI to attract investment and support employment in one of Australia's most extraordinary and remote environments.
It will provide a comprehensive directory of local businesses, skilled workforce and equipment available for use in projects, investment and development.
The Christmas Island CV is modelled on the successful Cocos (Keeling) Islands CV, which is currently used to source local businesses and contractors to upgrade the West Island runway. Together with the Indian Ocean Territories Investment Prospectus, the CVs will attract and capitalise on investment in the IOT.
There is no cost to list your business in the Christmas Island CV. We are seeking details from all businesses including trades and services, vehicle and machinery hire, accommodation, shops and eateries.
If you would like your business to be included in the Christmas Island CV, please complete the below linked form and return to email@example.com.
I strongly encourage local participation in the Christmas Island CV. I also strongly encourage companies and business considering local projects to use the CV once released, to maximise the efficiencies on offer through local employment, as well as optimising the positive impacts of your project on the local economy.
If you have any inquiries please do not hesitate to contact Lee Rohan, RDO Project Officer by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
